1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MyOneHundred, available at https://www.myonehundredtrail.com (the "Platform"), the official athlete portal of the One Hundred® Ultra Endurance Trail World Championship, the Trail World Tour and the related series.
The Platform is provided by One Hundred Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 11958123, with registered office at 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU, United Kingdom ("OneHundred", "we", "us" or "our"). The Platform is developed and operated for us by our technology provider, Stop and Go.
By creating an account, registering for a race or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. When you register for a race, you also agree to the rules and regulations of that race (see section 5). Please also read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects the rights you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
2. Definitions
- Account: the personal account you create to use the Platform.
- Athlete or you: the person who uses the Platform or registers for a race.
- Event or race: a trail running event listed on the Platform, which may include one or more distances (tracks).
- Organiser: the person or entity that organises an event and is responsible for staging it.
- Event Rules: the rules, regulations and conditions published by the organiser for an event, including any rules PDF linked on the event page.
- Championship: the One Hundred® World Championship, the Trail World Tour, and series such as the Seven Wonders Series, the Alliance Series and the Gold Slam, together with their rankings.
- Registration: your entry for a specific track of an event made through the Platform.
- Professional: a coach or nutritionist listed on the Platform.
- Content: any text, image, file or other material uploaded to the Platform.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an Account. Organisers may set higher minimum ages for particular distances.
- Minors may only take part in youth or kids races where the organiser offers them, under the organiser's own registration process and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- You must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information and keep it updated. Your name, gender and date of birth determine your category and ranking, so incorrect information may lead to disqualification.
- You may hold only one Account. You may not create an Account for another person unless you are authorised to act on their behalf and they have agreed to these Terms.
4. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your Account. Tell us immediately at support@onehundredtrail.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
- We may create a basic athlete profile for you from official race results so that championship points are assigned correctly. You can claim that profile by resetting the password with the same email address, or ask us to delete it.
- You can delete your Account at any time in Settings → Privacy. Deleting your Account does not cancel or refund registrations already made, and results and payment records are kept in anonymised form as explained in the Privacy Policy.
5. Our role and the role of organisers
OneHundred runs the Championship, the rankings and the Platform. Each event, however, is organised by an independent Organiser, who is responsible for the event itself: the course, safety, medical services, aid stations, timing, permits, insurance, kit, prizes awarded locally and the application of the Event Rules.
The Event Rules of the race you register for form part of your agreement and prevail over these Terms for anything concerning the conduct of the race (for example mandatory equipment, cut-off times, eligibility, disqualification, cancellations and refunds). Please read them before you register. If the event page does not include rules, ask the Organiser or us before you register.
Depending on the event, the contract for your entry may be concluded with OneHundred or directly with the Organiser (for example where payment is collected through the Organiser's own payment account). The event page and your payment receipt show who collects the payment.
6. Race registrations
- To register you must choose an event, a track and, where available, a kit, shirt size and team, and accept the Event Rules, these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
- Your registration is confirmed only when payment has been successfully completed and the status of your registration shows as paid or confirmed. Until then, your place is not reserved and prices may change.
- Places are limited and allocated in the order in which payments are completed. We or the Organiser may refuse a registration, for example if the race is full, if you do not meet the eligibility criteria, or if you have been banned from the Championship.
- After payment you can update some details (such as bib name, shirt size, team and emergency contact) until the deadline set for the event. Changes to the track or kit, if allowed, are subject to the Event Rules and any price difference.
- Bib numbers, start waves and kit are assigned by the Organiser. Shirt sizes are subject to availability.
- Your registration is personal. You may not sell, resell or give away your bib or registration, except through a transfer procedure expressly offered by the Organiser.
7. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown on the event page in the currency stated. Prices may vary according to registration periods (tiers) and options chosen. The price that applies is the one shown when you complete the payment.
- Unless stated otherwise, prices include any applicable VAT. Payment processing fees, bank charges or currency conversion fees charged by your bank are your responsibility.
- Discount codes and vouchers are subject to their own conditions, may only be used once unless stated otherwise, have no cash value and cannot be combined unless stated.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By paying you also accept Stripe's terms. We do not store your card details.
- If you need an invoice with your tax number, enter it when paying or contact us within the same calendar month.
- If a payment is reversed or charged back without good reason, we may cancel the related registration.
8. Cancellations, refunds and transfers
Refunds, deferrals and transfers are governed by the Event Rules of each race. Unless the Event Rules expressly provide otherwise:
- registrations are non-refundable if you cancel, do not start, do not finish, are disqualified or cannot take part for any personal reason, including illness or injury;
- registrations are non-transferable to another person and cannot be deferred to another edition;
- to cancel, notify us or the Organiser in writing. If the Event Rules provide for a partial refund, it will be paid to the original payment method within 30 days of the cancellation being accepted, less any non-refundable fees stated in the Event Rules.
No right of withdrawal. Race registrations are services related to leisure activities provided on a specific date or period. Under Article 16(l) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU and regulation 28(1)(b) of the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (and equivalent national laws), the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to them.
We recommend that you take out travel and cancellation insurance that covers your participation in the race.
9. Changes to or cancellation of an event
- The Organiser may change the course, distance, elevation, start time, cut-off times, aid stations or other details of an event, including during the race, for reasons of safety, weather, authorisations or other circumstances. Such changes do not give a right to a refund.
- If an event is cancelled before it starts for reasons attributable to the Organiser or to us, you will be offered a refund of the registration fee or, if you prefer, a transfer to another edition or event, as set out in the Event Rules.
- If an event is cancelled, shortened, neutralised or postponed due to force majeure (for example extreme weather, natural disasters, epidemics, orders of authorities, war, terrorism or other events beyond reasonable control), the Event Rules determine whether any refund, credit or deferral is offered. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs you incur.
- Championship points for shortened or cancelled events are awarded according to the published scoring rules.
10. Participation, health and risk
Trail and ultra-endurance running takes place in remote mountain, desert, forest and coastal environments, often at altitude, at night and in extreme weather, and involves inherent risks, including injury, illness, exhaustion, hypothermia, dehydration and, in rare cases, death. By registering you confirm that:
- you are aware of these risks and take part voluntarily;
- you are in good health, have prepared adequately for the distance and terrain, and have no medical condition that makes participation unsafe. We strongly recommend a medical check before taking part. Organisers may require a medical certificate;
- you will carry the mandatory equipment, respect cut-off times and follow the instructions of the Organiser, race marshals and medical staff, including any decision to withdraw you from the race;
- you will respect the environment, the "Leave No Trace" principles, local communities and other participants;
- you will comply with applicable anti-doping rules and will not use any form of assistance not allowed by the Event Rules;
- you consent to receive first aid and medical treatment if needed during the event.
The Organiser is responsible for the safety arrangements of the event. Breaches of the Event Rules may lead to time penalties, disqualification, loss of points or prizes, or exclusion from future events.
Events may be photographed, filmed and broadcast, including live on One Hundred TV. The Organiser's Event Rules and privacy notice set out how images of participants are used.
11. Emergency contact
If you provide an emergency contact, you confirm that you have informed that person that their details will be given to the Organiser and that they agree to be contacted in an emergency. You are responsible for keeping these details correct.
12. Results, rankings and prizes
- Official results are produced by the Organiser or its timing company. We publish them and use them to calculate Championship rankings according to the scoring rules published for each season.
- Results and rankings showing your name, country, gender, category, team and photo are public (see the Privacy Policy, including how to object).
- If you believe a result or ranking is wrong, tell us at support@onehundredtrail.com within 30 days of publication, with any supporting evidence. Corrections to race times must also be raised with the Organiser. Our decision on the Championship ranking, after reviewing the evidence, is final, without prejudice to your legal rights.
- We may correct errors in rankings at any time, including after prizes are announced, and reclaim prizes awarded in error or to athletes later disqualified.
- Prize money and awards are subject to the prize rules published for each season, including eligibility, anti-doping compliance, identity verification and any applicable taxes, which are the winner's responsibility.
13. Teams
- You may create a team or accept an invitation to join one. You may belong to only one team at a time.
- The person who creates a team becomes its manager, can invite and remove members and can transfer the role. Team managers must use members' details only to manage the team.
- Team names and logos must not infringe the rights of others, be offensive, or imply an affiliation that does not exist. We may rename or remove teams that breach these Terms.
- Team results in rankings are calculated according to the published scoring rules.
14. Coaches and nutritionists
- The Platform may list independent coaches and nutritionists and let athletes contact them. We check basic information before listing a Professional, but we do not employ, endorse or guarantee them, and we are not party to any agreement you make with them.
- Any services, fees, advice and payments are agreed directly between you and the Professional. Coaching or nutrition advice does not replace medical advice.
- Professionals must provide accurate information about their qualifications, hold any licences required in their country, and use athletes' contact details only to respond to their enquiries. We may remove a listing at any time.
15. Your content
- You remain the owner of the Content you upload (such as your profile photo, team logo, professional biography or messages).
- You grant OneHundred a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display and adapt that Content only as needed to operate and promote the Platform and the Championship (for example, showing your photo in rankings). This licence ends when you delete the Content or your Account, except for copies already published in results or kept in backups for a limited time.
- You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload the Content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights or law.
16. Acceptable use
You must not:
- provide false information, impersonate another person or register on someone else's behalf without authorisation;
- upload Content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, obscene, violent, or that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
- send spam, harassment or unsolicited commercial messages to other users or Professionals;
- collect or scrape personal data of other users, or use the Platform for any purpose other than its intended use;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, other accounts or our systems, interfere with their operation, introduce malware, or test their vulnerability without our written permission;
- use bots or automated means to register for races, or resell registrations;
- use the Platform in breach of any applicable law.
17. Intellectual property
The Platform, its software, design, texts, graphics, and the One Hundred® name, logos and series names are owned by or licensed to OneHundred or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written permission, except as permitted by law. Event names and logos belong to their respective Organisers.
18. Third-party services and links
The Platform contains links to and integrations with third-party services, such as Stripe, OpenStreetMap, Organisers' websites and social networks. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
19. Availability of the Platform
We aim to keep the Platform available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from harmful components. We may carry out maintenance, change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. Event information (dates, distances, prices, maps) is provided by Organisers and may change; the Event Rules and the Organiser's official communications prevail in case of discrepancy.
20. Suspension and termination
- We may suspend or close your Account, cancel registrations or remove Content if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms or the Event Rules, if required by law, or to protect other users or the Platform. Where reasonable we will tell you the reasons and give you the opportunity to respond.
- If a registration is cancelled because of your breach, you are not entitled to a refund unless the law requires it.
- You may stop using the Platform and delete your Account at any time.
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including liability, intellectual property and governing law) will survive.
21. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to the paragraph above:
- we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable;
- we are not responsible for the organisation and staging of events, which is the responsibility of the Organisers, nor for the services of Professionals or other third parties;
- we are not liable for business losses (such as loss of profit, revenue or business opportunity), as the Platform is for personal, non-commercial use;
- we are not liable for travel, accommodation or other costs related to an event, except where caused by our own breach;
- our total liability to you in connection with a registration is limited to the amount you paid for that registration, and in connection with the use of the Platform in general to GBP 100.
22. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate OneHundred for reasonable costs and losses (including legal fees) arising from your intentional or negligent breach of these Terms, of the Event Rules, or of third-party rights through Content you upload. This does not apply if you are a consumer and the law does not allow it.
23. Privacy
We process your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By registering for a race you acknowledge that your data will be shared with the Organiser of that race as explained there.
24. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms to reflect changes to the Platform, the Championship or the law. We will notify you of material changes by email or a notice on the Platform at least 30 days before they take effect, unless the change is required sooner by law or for security reasons. If you do not agree with the changes, you can delete your Account before they take effect; registrations already confirmed remain governed by the Terms in force when you registered. Continued use of the Platform after the changes take effect means you accept them.
25. Governing law and disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in the European Union or elsewhere, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
- Before starting any proceedings, please contact us at support@onehundredtrail.com so we can try to resolve the matter amicably. We will answer complaints within 30 days.
- If you are a consumer, you may also use an alternative dispute resolution entity available in your country. In Portugal, for example, you can contact a consumer arbitration centre (see consumidor.gov.pt) and the Livro de Reclamações (livroreclamacoes.pt).
- Disputes concerning the conduct of an event are subject to the Event Rules and, where applicable, to the jurisdiction indicated by the Organiser.
26. General provisions
- Entire agreement. These Terms, the Event Rules of the races you register for, and the policies referred to in them form the entire agreement between you and us about the Platform.
- Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
- No waiver. A delay or failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
- Assignment. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation, for example if the Championship is transferred; we will tell you and this will not affect your rights. You may not transfer your rights without our written consent.
- Third-party rights. Except for Organisers in relation to their Event Rules, no third party has any right to enforce these Terms.
- Language. These Terms are written in English. If they are translated, the English version prevails in case of conflict, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
