This Cookie Policy explains how MyOneHundred (the "Platform"), provided by One Hundred Group Ltd, uses cookies and similar technologies. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include the browser's local storage and requests to third-party servers to load content (such as map images), which reveal your IP address to that third party. In this policy, "cookies" refers to all of these.
Under the ePrivacy rules (and the UK PECR), cookies that are strictly necessary for a service you request can be used without consent. All others require your prior consent, which you can refuse or withdraw at any time.
2. How we use cookies
By default we only use cookies that are strictly necessary. All of them are first-party (set by the Platform itself) and none is used to track you across other websites. Optional third-party content is loaded only if you accept it.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session | Identifies your session so you stay signed in and the Platform remembers what you are doing (for example a registration in progress). HTTP-only. | 120 minutes of inactivity |
| Security | Security token that protects forms against cross-site request forgery. | 120 minutes |
| "Remember me" | Keeps you signed in between visits. Only set if you tick "Remember me" when signing in. HTTP-only. | Up to 400 days, or until you sign out |
| Language | Remembers the language you chose for the Platform. | 1 year |
| Cookie preferences | Stores your cookie choices so we do not ask you again on every page. | 6 months |
4. Local storage
| Item | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Appearance | Remembers whether you chose the light, dark or system appearance in your settings. Stored only on your device. | Until you clear it |
5. Optional content (requires consent)
| Category | Provider | Purpose and data |
|---|---|---|
| External maps | OpenStreetMap Foundation (tile servers) | Displays the course maps of each track. Your browser requests map images directly from OpenStreetMap servers, which receive your IP address and browser information. OpenStreetMap does not set cookies for this. See the OSMF privacy policy. If you do not accept, the background map is not loaded; the route line, statistics and elevation profile are still shown, and you can load the map with one click. |
Payments are made on Stripe's own pages after you are redirected there; any cookies Stripe uses are set on its domain and are governed by Stripe's cookie policy.
6. What we do not use
We do not use analytics cookies, advertising or retargeting cookies, social-media pixels or fingerprinting. Fonts and icons are served from our own servers. If we ever want to add any of these, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
7. Managing your choices
- When you first visit the Platform, a banner lets you accept all, keep necessary only or customise your choice. Refusing is as easy as accepting.
- You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via Cookie settings (also in the footer of every page).
- We ask again after 6 months, or sooner if we add a new category.
- You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in or register for races.
8. Changes and contact
We will update this policy whenever we change the cookies or similar technologies we use. The date and version at the top show the latest change. For questions, contact us at support@onehundredtrail.com.
