Cro-Trail 2026
Event Description
A breathtaking journey from the Alps to the Mediterranean Sea.
The Cro Trail, from Limone Piemonte (CN) to Sanremo (IM), is a mountain trail running
race of approximately 100 km with 4,700 m of positive elevation gain, run mainly on
alpine trails.
The course includes several high altitude sections above 2,200 m, where conditions may
be difficult (cold, wind, rain, snow, fog) and at times extreme. The route is technical and
demanding. Adequate training, sound knowledge of the alpine environment and strong
personal self sufficiency are essential to complete the race, which must be considered
an individual experience.
For the Exclusive Edition 2026, participation is limited to 15 athletes, carefully selected
and invited by the Organization.
The race starts at 06:00 on Saturday 26 September from Limone Piemonte (CN). It is run
in a single stage within a maximum of 30 hours, including any stops.
